Amir Khan to spar again with Manny Pacquiao in LA ? | Pacquiao Vs Cotto Fight

Amir Khan has his routine at the Wild Card Gym, Freddie’s Roach’s Hollywood training base. He runs, he goes on the pads, then he spars in the afternoon. The plan is laid out by Roach, thousands of miles away. Before his last two fights, Khan has had his mobile phone confiscated by Roach so that the many friends of the British fighter leaves him in peace. Right now, that mobile phone is a direct line of instruction from The Philippines to Los Angeles. Khan revealed in the last few hours that he speaks daily with Roach who gives him his training routine. Roach is in Baguio City where he is in camp with Filipino idol Manny Pacquiao , in phase one of their training ahead of the November 14 meeting with Miguel Cotto in Las Vegas . Unable to run, Pacquiao trains in the pool instead

BAGUIO CITY -- Filipino ring icon Manny Pacquiao has taken up swimming to make up for the road work he has lost to the weather. “For the last eight years I’ve been trying to get Manny in the pool,” Roach told the Philippine Daily Inquirer yesterday. “With the rain here we finally got him in the pool.” Pacquiao has missed days of road work due to intermittent rains here. The experience may have not been pleasant for Pacquiao but overall, Roach believes his prized ward has acknowledged the positive effect of it. “He swallowed a lot of chlorine but he learned to swim quite quickly,” said Roach. “I think I actually liked it overall because when he started to work out he realized how hard it was.” Pacquiao’s date with the pool last Friday lasted for 26 minutes.
